Terms of Service

01Agreement to terms

These Terms of Service govern your access to and use of Lirovo, the structured-extraction layer for video, including our website, API, SDKs, and related services. By creating an account, requesting an API key, or using the service, you agree to these terms.

If you are using Lirovo on behalf of an organization, you confirm that you have the authority to bind that organization, and “you” refers to that organization.

02The service

Lirovo takes a video you provide, processes its audio and visual content, and returns typed JSON that conforms to a schema you define, with each value traceable to the moment in the video it came from. We deliver this through a developer API and the tools we build around it. We may change, add, or remove features over time as the product evolves.

03Accounts and API keys

You are responsible for your account, your API keys, and all activity that happens under them. Keep your keys secret. If you believe a key has been exposed, revoke it and issue a new one immediately, and let us know if you suspect unauthorized use of your account.

You must provide accurate information and keep it current. You must be at least the age of majority in your jurisdiction to use Lirovo.

04Acceptable use

You agree not to use Lirovo to:

• Process content you do not have the right to use, or that infringes someone else's rights.
• Break the law, or extract data in violation of a third party's terms, privacy, or applicable regulation.
• Attempt to access another tenant's data, probe or bypass our security, or disrupt the service.
• Reverse engineer the service, resell raw access without authorization, or circumvent usage limits.
• Submit malware, or use the service to build a product whose primary purpose is to compete by copying it.

We may throttle, suspend, or terminate access that we reasonably believe violates these terms or threatens the service or other customers.

05Your content and rights to source video

You retain ownership of the videos and other content you submit and of the structured results Lirovo produces from them. You grant us a limited license to host, process, and transmit that content solely to provide the service to you and to maintain and improve its operation.

You are responsible for having the rights and permissions needed to submit each source video and to have it processed. By submitting a video, you represent that you may lawfully do so and that our processing of it will not violate any law or third-party right.

06Intellectual property

Lirovo, including the platform, software, models we build, branding, and documentation, is owned by us and our licensors and is protected by intellectual property laws. These terms grant you a limited, revocable, non-exclusive right to use the service. They do not transfer any of our intellectual property to you.

07Fees and billing

Lirovo offers a free tier to start, then usage-based pricing for paid use. Fees, metering, and current pricing are described on our pricing page. By providing a payment method you authorize us and our payment processor to charge the fees you incur.

Charges are based on your metered usage and are non-refundable except where required by law. We may change pricing on reasonable notice; changes apply to usage after the change takes effect. You are responsible for any taxes other than those on our net income.

08Beta features and availability

Lirovo is an evolving product, and some features may be labeled beta, preview, or early access. Those features are provided as is, may change or be withdrawn, and may be less reliable than generally available ones. We work hard to keep the service available but do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation.

09Disclaimers

The service is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis, without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. Extraction results are generated by automated models and may contain errors or omissions. You are responsible for reviewing results before relying on them for important decisions.

10Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Lirovo will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, revenue, or data. Our total liability for any claim relating to the service is limited to the amount you paid us for the service in the three months before the event giving rise to the claim.

11Indemnification

You agree to defend and indemnify Lirovo against claims, damages, and costs arising from the content you submit, your use of the service, or your breach of these terms, including any claim that a video you submitted infringed a third party's rights or violated the law.

12Termination

You may stop using Lirovo and close your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access if you breach these terms, if required by law, or to protect the service or other customers. On termination, your right to use the service ends. Provisions that by their nature should survive, such as ownership, disclaimers, and limitation of liability, will survive.

13Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Quebec and the applicable laws of Canada, without regard to conflict-of-laws rules. The courts located in Montreal, Quebec will have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute, subject to any mandatory consumer protections in your place of residence.

14Changes to these terms

We may update these terms as the product and the law change. When we make a material change, we will update the date at the top and, where appropriate, notify you. Continued use of Lirovo after a change takes effect means you accept the updated terms.
